We snowmobiled through the White River National Forest and stopped at the top of Notch Mountain at 12,500 feet up. The view was phenomenally breathtaking and these pictures just don't do it justice.
Our trip to Veil, Colorado was a direct result of my wife being a badass. We are both fortunate enough to work for an amazing company and as she excelled for two continuous quarters, she qualified us to go on an all-expenses paid trip to Veil, Colorado.
After Veil, we stuck around in Colorado for some exploring of our own. We learned about the Aspen trees, stopped at the continental divide and caught up with old friends.
We eventually made it to our final destination at the hot springs in Strawberry Park. Jokes on you- there were no strawberries, but it was beautiful. The park was completely off the grid. Like COMPLETELY. There was no electricity, no phone service, tons of bears and no peace at night, whatsoever. I literally watched the stars rotate across the sky while honey slept and I kept watch. My only friends were the stars and TED. Ted, like Ted talks... I listened to all of them, seriously.
It was a truly magical experience and we can't wait to be back.
